Ansé Extensions Essentials

Follow this guide to care for your raw hair extensions. Learn what to expect and get essential tips on washing, styling, and maintaining them to keep your extensions soft, vibrant, and long-lasting. Proper care ensures they stay beautiful and natural-looking!

What’s the difference between Ansé Extensions and other companies who sell bundles?

Ansé Extensions are 100% raw, single donor bundles sourced from Indonesia and Cambodia. Our extensions have ZERO synthetic fillers/fibers in them. With this grade of quality, customers should purchase our extensions with the expectation that they will not appear as “full” while wrapped in the bundle, in comparison to other companies who sell bundles with synthetic fibers in them. With that being said, please be assured that Ansé Extensions are still thick from the weft to the ends and will give you a voluminous and full look when installed.

How many bundles should I purchase?

12” to 22”: 3 Bundles

24” to 28” and Up: 4 Bundles

30” and Up: 4-5 Bundles

Hair Care Guide

Washing and Conditioning

  1. Co-Wash Regularly: Use sulfate-free conditioner to co-wash your bundles. Wet the hair with lukewarm water, apply the conditioner thoroughly, let it sit for 5-10 minutes for added moisture, then rinse and air dry
  2. Frequent Washing: Wash your bundles every two weeks to maintain cleanliness and avoid product buildup.
  3. Proper Shampoo and Conditioner: Use high-quality, hydrating, sulfate-free shampoos and conditioners.
  4. Cold Water Rinse: Use cold water to rinse out the conditioner to seal in moisture.

Detangling and Brushing

  1. Detangle Carefully: Use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush, starting from the ends and working your way up to avoid unnecessary pulling and breakage.
    2. Brush from Ends Up: Always brush your hair from the ends upwards to prevent tangling and minimize breakage.

Drying

  1. Air Dry: We recommend letting your bundles air dry after washing to maintain their quality and prevent heat damage.
  2. Blow Drying: If you have to blow dry your extensions always be sure to use a heat protectant.

Additional Tips

  1. Avoid Cutting Wefts: Do not cut the wefts unless absolutely necessary to maintain the integrity of the bundles.
  2. Use Quality Products: Invest in high-quality raw hair and use quality products to ensure longevity and maintain the hair's natural luster.
  3. Wear a Satin or Silk Bonnet: At night, wear a satin or silk bonnet or scarf to prevent friction and tangling.
  4. Avoid Heavy Products: Avoid using heavy products which can weigh the hair down.

By following these steps, you can keep your raw hair bundles looking fresh, shiny, and tangle-free for an extended period.
